THE MISTAKE| ⭐️BOOK REVIEW⭐️

I love these Briar Hockey Boys so much, it’s not even funny! John Logan, isn’t the bad boy in this story; he’s got shades of cinnamon roll to him, but with everything heaped on his shoulders family wise, he hides it by doing what he seems to numb things; going through girls like there’s no tomorrow. But… Grace changes everything.

I love that in this book, Logan has a heart of gold. His initial meeting with Grace stirred up a lot of mixed emotions right out the gate; him still harboring “feelings” for his best friend’s girl, and Grace feeling as if she can’t keep a guy interested due to her nervous habit of babbling. These two just fit like missing puzzle pieces for one another.

I love that Elle continues to share family dynamics in this series. You immediately see just how different both Grace & Logan’s home life is and how that shapes them into the individuals that they are.

Grace made Logan work to redeem himself and I loved that he took her up on the challenge she threw down. You can’t say they boy wasn’t putting in the work to leave empty handed 😉

Elle does a phenomenal job at keeping the supporting Briar hockey 🏒 players in this story, and it makes you want to know more about them; we got slivers of the legendary Garrett Graham, who continues to be a support system for his best friend, along with his wicked sense of ribbing his friend in the process.

The Mistake was a very quick read and had spice that started right out the gate. But you know ow those Briar boys know how to bring the heat 🔥.
