BOOK REVIEW
.

This was a lengthy read but a pretty good one. So This Is War was hilarious, sweet and at times sad and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I loved how Meghan set up the start of the story with what went down to make Coach Wood furious or Levi. It was like watching a television show where you see the ‘Four Days Ago’ tag that tells you something major went down, so let’s see how it all happened!
Wylie and Levi, who meet at a bar, hit it off instantly, but before he can get her to tell him who she is, her father, who also happens to be his coach walks in. She leaves immediately, leaving Levi with wanting to know who his mystery woman is.
Levi is a good guy and a great team mate with the Agitators hockey team; who at times has a tendency to go into word vomit when talking to his friends. The dynamic between him and his crew was fun to read. I’ll have to go back and read each of their books.

Coach Wood has a lot of trust issues and his recruiting Levi to have his daughter as his personal assistant, although funny, in actually was a tad heartbreaking. I can understand a father wanting the best for their daughter, but his control over her made me more mad at him and rooting big time for Wylie to prove her point that she can take care of herself.
I didn’t like Coach Wood. At all. He was such a hot head and in my eyes a bit of a bully, not just to Levi, but his daughter, as well.
Levi and Wylie were so cute together. His love and support for her give me tingles of happiness.
If you love hockey romance, make sure to get this book! It’s a keeper.
