Shutout Avery Keelan
Book Review
I fell so in love with Tyler ‘Hades’ Donohue and Seraphina ‘Tinkerbell’ Carter.
Shutout doesn’t focus solely on a one night stand, turned into a forbidden romance. There is a lot of sensitive material that pulls on the heart and Avery written Seraphina’s side story so beautifully.
This book had it all. Over protective brother, hockey roommate bonding, the mean-girl best friend (don’t get me started on Abby) and parental support. Nothing went amiss in this story.
Mind you, it did take Tyler awhile to figure out his feelings for Seraphina, but when he did, he proved he was endgame for her, especially when she needed someone most.
I would have loved to see what the poem was that Seraphina wrote, considering it was based on what she was dealing with on the family front.
Avery definitely needs to do a standalone that goes picks up where Tyler and Seraphina’s story wrapped up. There so much more to share about these two, as well as Chase and Bailey.
