Players Don’t Always Wanna Play: Craving the Player Review

Craving the Player, the 1st in the Amateurs in Love series, for me, was good.

I loved that fact that Braeden Lowry, who was featured in Lucky Hit, which was Hannah Cowan’s 1st book in the Swift Hat-Trick Trilogy, knew that he was a mess. He was a good guy when it came to his friends and his newly discovered brother, Tyler, but Braeden as lover material was a mess; and I was here for it.

It was refreshing to see a character who was called out time and time again for his lack of opening up to others, especially with Sierra, who he clearly was developing feelings for. I loved that Tyler Bateman (I love this character) was in this book, being Braeden’s voice of reason.

I had to read this book fast because I wanted to see if Cole, that sketch boss of Sierra’s was going to get what would be coming to him in the second installment.

Sierra doesn’t trust easy and that bothered me a bit, until I got to the chapters with her family, primarily her parents.

Overall this was a good book. Some may not like it because of the heavy amounts of sex chapters, however, I saw where Hannah was going with these two characters in regards to that.
