BOOK REVIEW

.

I have been waiting for Oliver Rossi’s redemption story, and it was everything I wanted it to be.

This was the perfect forbidden/secret romance in this series. I love that Oliver stayed true to who he was. He didn’t sugarcoat how he felt or what he thought of others, yet, he doesn’t shy away from owning up to his bad treatment of others.

Things I Loved

I loved that we got to see his interaction with Blair, his ex girlfriend from the 3rd book, Over The Limit. It was nice to see that she forgave him and was the 1st to pick up on the feelings he has for Sofia.

I loved the nicknames, Simply Sofia and Just Ollie. I liked that Oliver shared why the nickname had sentimental meaning.

I love the fact that this book had racing in it. The tension between racers reaching the checkered flag actually written in the pages makes me grin from ear to ear.

The supporting characters added layers of both joy and irritation for both main characters. K. Bromberg does a stellar job in giving you characters you absolutely love and characters you can’t stand. It adds to the realism in her story, because there’s always one or two characters you can relate to.

I absolutely hated the way Cruz treated Oliver. He was the biggest hypocrite, considering the fact that he’s done things that weren’t the best. He was far too up Sofia’s butt about Oliver.

Oliver may be the villain (on the racetrack) but he was far from it with his love and unwavering support to Sofia. These two had so many sweet and vulnerable moments together.

I loved reading Out Of Control. K. Bromberg, you ended this story on such a great note.
