This is my first married man romance. I enjoyed it. I loved the set up how Marissa and Chris met; at a wedding.

Marissa and Chris had instant attraction with one another. I truly felt for Chris being married to the harpy named Holly. She was a piece of work and I didn’t want her simply walking away from her actions without a little karma dished out to her.

Q. B. did a great job with Marissa’s family. You can tell by the way her parents treat her, they have trust and faith in her. Something Autumn, her older sister points out to her earlier on. Marissa ‘s family love one another, which is something I enjoy when I read.

Chris isn’t a bad guy in this; he just made a bad decision that he can’t seem to get out of in order to find and keep happiness. He found that happiness with Marissa, regardless of the risks involved.

One of my favorite characters is Wes Beckham, who s Chris’s best friend and boss. Wes can read Chris like a book and knows when Chris gets himself in deep with his feelings for Marissa. He and Raegan are cute and balance each other out.

Our Little Secret is a delicious, quick read.
