Midnight Pleasure Book Review

First off, I love a modern royal romance. I especially love when it has layer after layer of personal character stories. Pair that with open spice and you have a great book to tell everyone to purchase.
Claudia C. Adotey won me over with her book, Midnight Pleasure. Emily Wilson and Prince Dale Miller, the main characters in the book… wow, I’m at a loss for words. This was such an addicting read thanks to the characters. I couldn’t even put the book down, and let’s just say I didn’t feel bad one bit for staying up until 4am finishing it.

Dale, obligated to marry Hannah Cheddleton, a college friend, clearly doesn’t have wedding bells in his mind, and the minute he meets wedding planner Emily, all thoughts of getting hitched goes out the window. Not only is he dealing with an upcoming wedding but he also has to deal with his annoying brother, Matt in the process.

I loved Emily and how close she was with her best friend, Lauren, who should have her own book (she really needs her own book). However, while she may be close to a handful of people, so much in her life keeps her heart guarded. The way Claudia wrote her backstory will make readers truly relate and understand Emily.

Midnight Pleasures didn’t disappoint when it came to scandal and gobsmacked twists. When I say my mouth dropped, it dropped and stayed that way for a few minutes. I didn’t see it coming— and I. LOVED. THAT!
Overall a great read— so great I am getting the physical edition to re-read. This is a winner!
