Lucky Hit Book Review

Where have I been when this trilogy came out?!?  Lucky Hit gave all the goodness there is in sports romance and I am here for it all.

Oakley Hutton may be the best or the best on the ice, but he’s an even better fictional boyfriend that has all the requirements to hold our attention.  He’s a loving son to his mom, a very protective older brother to Gracie (don’t get me started on here…) and a loyal teammate and good friend to those on his team.

It was no doubt they when he met Ava in the night or his going away party he would lend an ear for her to vent to.

I love that Hannah writes life situations for her characters, and Ava’s was written so well.  I loved every thing about hers  I loved her loyalty to her friends Morgan and Adam, I loved the fact that she cherishes the family that gave their love to her unconditionally when she needed it, and I loved how she let her guard down with Oakley.

The characters of Adam and Tyler are why I want to continue this trilogy.  Although Adam was displaying a bit of envy, he’s a wonderful friend to Ava.  As for Tyler, there’s so much about him I want to know.  Tyler became my favorite in the group.

I may be in the minority, but I wasn’t too big of a fan of Gracie’s in this book, nor the novella she’s featured in.  Hopefully this will all change when I dive into Blissful Hook.

Lucky Hit was one of the best for me in hockey romance, and I applaud Hannah’s ability to give us a solid story and side story along with the spice.
