BOOK REVIEW

.

This book had every element.

šŸ’‹ Romance

šŸŒ¶ļø Spice

šŸŽ Drama

šŸ˜‚ Laughter

I loved every single thing about Finley Hayes. I’m a huge goner for a bad-boy from the wrong side of the tracks, but let’s be clear; he’s not truly a bad-boy, but a young man dealt a hand he shouldn’t have been dealt with in terms of his family status.

I don’t want to give away too much, but Max Monroe created some very stellar characters in Finnley and Scottie Bardeaux (that’s my girl). I love that the attraction between Scottie and Finn was the, but I loved that there was no rush into putting them together. I love a story where there is angst between the two main characters but not so much where you are like frustrated that they won’t be put together.

The family dynamic is so relatable. One family that has lack of love and support and family that will move heaven and earth to be there for one another. It makes Finn and Scottie have a deeper understanding of one another. I love that family isn’t just on the parental scope but also formulated by their peers.

I need to read more of Ace and Blake. These two are so hilarious. Ace may be the comedic foil to n this story but he’s Finn’s voice of reason when it counts. Julia and Kayla are so likable and I still think and will think there’s something there between her and Ace.

There are so many twists in this story I didn’t see coming. There are villains I couldn’t wait for to get theirs and there are so many tender moments that will make you grab a tissue.

Be prepare, however, this is a lengthy book but you won’t be at all disappointed; plus it’s a fairly quick read.

I’m ready for the next installment Max Monroe!
