BOOK REVIEW

.

I am such a sucker for childhood friends turned accidental marriage romances. This was one of the cutest books I’ve read in the Aspen Grove series.

Everly and Cash are one of the same coin in many ways. Cash, who suffered tragedy as a teen, has spent the majority of his life keeping others at bay, while having feelings of never being good enough; while at the same time, Everly has been burned by love and refuses to open her heart out of fear of having it happen again.

I loved that Cash could be who he was with Everly and how he gradually let down his walls around her. He learned to embrace everything about himself, including his visible scars. The Stafford family are one of three biggest support systems for each other, especially Johanna, the matchmaker of the family. She was like a dog to a bone where Everly and Cash were concerned.

I knew it was set up that Everly would eventually set that douche of a father straight; I wish it was a bit sooner. I hated how she was treated by him.

Give me a book on August. He made me giggle with his blunt honesty. Ann’s description of him was perfect. Now we just need her to give him his own book.

Ann took us to great heights in the spice department. Everly may have been playing hard to get, but her dreams were telling a different story. No matter how much Cash and Everly attempted to downplay their attraction, it was clear just how much they wanted one another.

I’m already to read both Dawson’s story and Harrison’s book.

A delicious read. Thank you Ann for giving me the honor to read If You Give A Billionaire A Bride.
