Book Review: Rewrite Our Story
I’m a sucker for a small town romance; I love the vivid descriptions of a small town, those who live in it, what the places they live look like and what makes characters want to stay there.
I got all of this when I started and finished reading Kat Singleton’s Rewrite Our Story, the first book in the Sutten Mountain series.

The story reveals what it is truly like when you lose someone that shapes your whole world and right in the center of it all is Cade Jennings and Marigold Evans, who both experienced parental loss and through a series of events soon after, the loss of one another.
No matter what series you read or Kat’s you’re going to get a very good plot. I love how Kat not just gives us front row seats to see how Cade and Mare slowly fell in love with one another but also for how they unraveled and went their separate ways.

Mare’s love for Cade was so sweet and innocent, and the way Cade cared for her was heartwarming. Right up to her first time with him, he showed patience and tenderness, even with the potty mouth he had🤭
I love a good miscommunication trope simply for the fact that when Cade and Mare revealed why they were both angry with one another, it was for the same reasons.
I enjoyed Pippa’s backstory that would gear us up for the second book, Tempt Our Fate. The scene between Camden, Pippa and Mare was hilarious, which makes me want to do a second read of their story.
I simply enjoy reading anything Kat puts out, and her books are so addicting, you simply can’t put it down. If you love short chapter romance, especially small town romances, then definitely read Rewrite Our Story.
