Max won my heart… REALLY won my heart! And Kai 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨. Baseball Daddy indeed! Miller? YESS GIRL🫶🏼

This was more than a story of falling in love, but a story of sacrifice. What one would do or the lengths they would go for the one they care about. Kai, to me, went the distance in every single thing he did when it pertained to Max, which made me fall in love either way him. The relationships he formed, aside from his relationship with his brother (Isaiah is a riot!), no matter not being blood, is family and that’s a beautiful thing to have.

Miller in a nutshell is the “what filter” girl. I loved her, and I just loved how she easily turned Kai’s head and gained his full attention and doted 100% on Max. One not to spoil and share everything, this melted my heart, as well as made me sweat 🥵🥵🥵.

I loved that this story was so different, especially on the parental front.

Monty Montgomery is my golden retriever hero father. Not just wanting the best for his daughter, but also the man who is so similar to who he was. It’s a 1st I’ve read of a parent who’s supportive and not driving a wedge to what was slowly developing. 💕
