C. L. Rose save the BEST for last!
When I tell you Tanner has my whole heart, I mean exactly that. So many emotions ran through me as I watched childhood friendship bloom into true love.
QB Keeper, the final installment in the Boston Blizzard series wasn’t a disappointment. At. All. If you haven’t read any of the previous books featuring Tanner’s friends, you’ll miss just how much of a role Tanner played in each of his friends relationships. It’s not until Tanner’s story that you truly see how important it was to him to be there for them.
Arrangements with no strings attached are dangerous, no matter how much each tell themselves nothing with happen. When Tanner offers be Grace’s 1st sexual encounter, which includes taboo relations, you can just see through the tunnel things are gonna get complicated.

I loved how Candice set up the character of Grace five years ago. Fresh faced innocence with curiosity and giving her trust completely to one person she’s known her whole life. The more time Grace spends with Tanner, the more her heart fills with emotions of sheer happiness, which develops in to true love.
Readers should be aware that this installment has very sensitive material that may not be their cup of tea. For many who are fans of the series are gonna gobble this up like candy and want to climb Tanner’s “ladder” for more.
I absolutely cried reading this book. Reading heartbreak in romance novels doesn’t always bring me to tears. But Tanner’s and Grace’s heartbreak opened up the floodgates. I. Was. Not. Ready!
The Blizzard Babes were in full effect to bring Grace into the fold and I loved that. I loved seeing my girls Mads, Bella, and Dia in this finale. And in traditional B. B fashion, these ladies don’t shy away from giving Grace the dirt about their boys.
The one thing that stood out for me from start to finish is the growth of each of the main characters. Growth done separately. Grace, through her heartbreak had to grow up rather quickly in order to be able to be strong enough to protect her heart, while Tanner had to grow from the mistakes he made for initiating the cause of both of their heartbreak.
Although this may seem like goodbye to the journey with the Boston Blizzard Boys & Babes, I’m ruling that we may very well see these characters down the line in the future.
Candice, thank you so much for bringing new into your world and trusting me to read such a beautifully naughty work of art.
