COME BREAK MY HEART AGAIN By C. W. Farnsworth
.

One of the best dual timeline stories ever written. I love second change romances, but I felt like Come Break My Heart Again, by C. W. Farnsworth was like a series of many chances; in a good way!
Elle and Ryder both loved one another so much that when tragedy come at them, tearing them apart part, neither know how to in many ways survive and move forward in their lives. Seven years apart. Seven years of Elle going through everyday living, accomplishments and relationships. Seven years of Ryder being pulled away from the one person who loved and believed in him the most. How do you correct seven years of heartbreak?
Elle may have the wealthy lifestyle but she doesn’t let it rule her, no matter how much her parents plan her life. When she met Ryder, for the first time, she could just be herself. I felt Elle wasn’t truly happy with the life she was living, but when she was with her friends and with Ryder, she could breathe and be carefree.

Even though Ryder was on the wrong side of the tracks socially, he wasn’t the typical bad boy. In fact, Ryder wasn’t a bad boy. He was just a boy who knew he didn’t have wealth to provide himself an established lifestyle like Elle and her peers. He had a heart of gold and was a fierce protector when it came to his younger brother.
I loved how C. W. written her Then content that made seamless connections with the current timeframe of the story. It’s that fluidity that made it hard to put this book down. You want to know more, especially when you read how their relationship blossomed and then stalled.
Tucker and Kiera are the glue that is needed Elle and Ryder. There’s no judgement from them, but subtle nudges when it comes to their two friends. The supporting characters, even with minimal scenes, help reveal truths about Elle’s reactions to things and shows more of Ryder’s personality and feelings about the things he sees.

Come Break My Heart Again had me on a rollercoaster of emotions and I was there for every single upset and downs.
