I finished Tempt Our Fate and it was….
SO WORTH READING!
Saying Camden Hunter is scrumptious wouldn’t do him justice. The man is SINFULLY SCRUMPTIOUS🥵❗️ Reading his Dual POV makes a woman want to grab several glasses of ice water just to cool down!
Peeling the layers of his life is the greatest thing (aside from his need to quench his desires for his Shortcake) to read in this book. Many readers can relate to the lack of parental love; how it blocks your belief that it can be attained as an adult. His sharing that vulnerability with Pippa shows not only her, but also the readers, that he is capable of giving and receiving the love that he deserves.
Pippa is a firecracker 🧨❗️ She pulls no punches and takes no mess, but she, just like Camden, has experienced great loss. Where Pippa had great love from her mother, Camden had that in the form of his grandmother. Pippa was FIRE 🔥 to Camden’s ICE 🧊.
One of the greatest reveals for me was reading about why Camden calls Pippa Shortcake 🍰 from their 1st encounter. It’s so beautifully written and sheds even more light into Camden’s life growing up.
If you don’t have this book in your possession, you want to get a copy! I wasn’t disappointed and neither will you.
