Declan Kane is by far the most grumpiest of them all when it comes to fictional boyfriends, but he was the most sweetest when it came to his assistant, Iris.

I applaud Lauren Asher when it comes to giving her characters truly relatable life situations that we can connect with.

I loved that despite Declan’s rude and abrasive attitude, Iris could go toe-to-toe with him and put him in his place when she needed to.

Their love story may have started off as a marriage of convenience, however, overtime you see that both Iris and Declan fell in love long before their contract.

When Declan revealed to Iris that he knew about her learning disability and the many ways he did things (without her awareness) to help with that while working for him.

I love when Iris explained why she became a nurturer of plants. Their bond throughout the book was beautifully written.

I love the Kane Brothers. This whole series makes my heart melt. Now it’s on to the final installment, Final Offer, which features Callahan Kane.
