MINI BOOK REVIEW

I can not get over how good Caraval was. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. Stephanie Garber weaved an amazing tale of what’s real and what is only an illusion. Her imagery of color through the clothing worn by Scarlett or Donatella came to life through the pages; and how the clothing changed based on emotions had me enthralled.

You didn’t know who was genuine, who was truly playing the game or who would find themselves going mad. Legend reminded me of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.

Scarlett was my girl; so unwilling, yet over time, she wanted what we all wanted; answers. And let’s not forget about Julian, who kept me guessing to the very last chapter.

Worth it. So worth reading and potentially re-reading.
