I am a complete sucker for a small town romance, especially when the MMC & FMC are childhood friends who equally like one another, but don’t act on it until…
Cameron Kelley, who’s set to head off to college, finds himself with the girl of his dreams, his best friend’s sister, Ava Decker. He knows it’s wrong to be with her, but when he gives in to her request to be her “first”, rather than it being everything he’s ever wanted, he instead lies and tells Ava he doesn’t remember their night together.

This sets up for a great enemies to lovers story. Ava, convinces herself she hates Cameron, but in all actuality, she hates that she can’t stop being in love with him. Their interactions are so cute, especially when she trades insults with him.
I love that Cameron, despite being a semi-famous professional football player, sticks close to his roots, never forgetting where he came from. The close bond he has with his family and with his best friend, Isaiah is beautifully written.
The character that makes the book, although her time is brief, is Grams, who knows everything and has the sass to back her words up. Her interactions with both Cameron and Ava is hilariously adorable.
I love that Stacey doesn’t just focus on Cam’s and Ava’s story, but also gives us side stories that feature the Kelley brothers, Dalton, Gavin and Bryce.’, which clearly sets up upcoming books. I for one, however want more on what went down with Ava’s brother Isaiah and Regina, who runs the local bar.
Stacey Lynn did a phenomenal job with Unstoppable Love, so much so, I’ll add this on the Top Re-read List.
Thanks so much Stacey for letting me enjoy this book before its release May 14th.
