OMG is all I can say about Rachel Leigh’s Heartless Monster. If readers like a bully romance, this is the one!

Rome Cromwell and Elodie Astor the lead characters in the book keep you invested in their story.  He hates her, she can’t stand him. Typical enemies to lovers story, right?  Uh uh.  This was giving me much more than the typical enemies to lovers trope.

Elodie, after finding herself in a terrifying situation and being saved from it, unwittingly changes lives after making a single phone call. She had no idea that her new stepbrother, Rome, was the one whose life she ruined in the process.

There was so much to enjoy in Heartless Monster. Elodie being written as a strong female who refuses to break , Rome, who was determined to wreck havoc in her life.

It was great reading supporting characters who weren’t lost in the main plot of the book and when you can’t tell who’s truly sincere and who’s the troublemaker, it makes the story even better.

Heartless Monster is a pretty quick read, and with so much going on between Rome and Elodie, you won’t want to put it down.
