If there was ever a book that many can relate to, it is Damaged Goods by L. J. Shen.

Let’s be clear; yes, this is a story about a young man who is head over heels in love with his childhood friend; but this is also a story of how long one wants to hold on to a love that can’t be reciprocated due to addiction of the other person.
Lev Cole and Bailey Followhill have known each other since being childhood friends and they’ve been inseparable up until Bailey leave for her big chance at Juilliard as a ballerina. It’s that moment that changes everything for them.

You have two young adults who have loving families, but how that familial love turned into high expectations; expectations that make both Lev and Bailey hit many stumbling blocks.
I loved Lev and his determination to help Bailey, no matter how mean she was to him. I loved how the families all came and stayed together in this story.
The one character I was so glad got hers was Thalia. I hated that chick. With. A. Passion!
This book was an emotional rollercoaster and I didn’t want to get off until the very end.
